Limekilns
Limekilns were sent a letter from the SAFA telling us that we had incorrectly completed our recent team lines for our Scottish Cup tie. Apparently we had made an error in section 9D of their rules, however they did not specify the error. We were fined £10 and had 10 days to pay. I assume non-payment would have resulted in debt suspension. I am not sure if they even copied in our association for information. After checking with Craig and Wattie, who then checked with the SAFA, who replied with the following; "Sincere apologies there appears nothing wrong with the team line as you can appreciate there was a lot of fixtures that weekend and this team line has been included in the pile for fines. Once again sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and please ignore the letter. I will include club into this email." With the next round a week on Sunday, I would make sure that all teams check with the association over any fines. As I am the Secretary and Manager, I caught the fact that this wasn't right. If other clubs have seperate committee members they could easily end up paying the fine.
