Strathmiglo FC Posted December 21, 2014 Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 Typical comment from someone who knows nothing about our club at the moment !! We went to tarves 2 weeks ago with a bare team 1 sub who had to come on at halftime 3 suspended 2 injured & 2 cup tied 1 of our players is long term injured with a broken leg 1 of the best players in fife amatuer football btw anyway 4-1 up & really should have put the game well out of sight but missed some great chances to do that but let's give tarves some credit for getting back into the game with fresh players on a pitch which they are used to playing on. Yesterday we were delighted to get a team on the park due to 3 quarters of the boys out drinking all day long celebrating black friday only 1 player never made it the rest were there but in a terrible state we were poor yesterday but hopefully putting that down to guys dragging themselves out of bed for a 1.30 kick off after getting home from the likes of edinburgh at the early hours lol we are delighted to be in the scottish cup after xmas & flying the flag for the kingdom league last 64 I think it is now great for a team that was dead on its knees at the end of last season but we will need to improve massively for the next round that is a fact & we all know that only 2/3 fife teams left well done to the other teams for getting this far great to see merry xmas to everyone from all at strath we send our love ❤️ dody, smiler and valdas 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Strathmiglo FC Posted December 21, 2014 Report Share Posted December 21, 2014 This was the only fixture yesterday in the kingdom league all other teams were idle boys work all year long & look forward to there xmas days/nights out that have been planned for weeks you cannot stop them on black friday & we took a big gamble to play the game we could have easily called the game off but the park was playable so game on according to the rules agree poor performance but to keep a clean sheet & win this game under the circumstances was very pleasing we cannot be that bad when junior teams are constantly at our games approaching our players which believe it or not happened again yesterday lol well done to the 2 FAFA teams that are still in the competition great stuff beware though unfortunately there are negative jealous people out there that want to see yous fail good luck to yous from all at strath ❤️❤️❤️ serg, valdas, scotty mac and 1 other 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
