serg Posted July 30, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 30, 2016 (edited) Cheers bomber , We were let down today by some signed players who said yesterday they were available, we had 10 players bout 15 min before ko , ended up getting 12 . Would say that denbeath had majority of possession, but didn't have many clear cut chances , they hit the bar 2nd half. But apart from that it was a battle had strikers playing in midfield & sub keeper up top to start . We obv missing few , but think denbeath were aswell as they only had 12/13 themselves. All in all our 1st 2 games we have done well , soaking up a lot of pressure , but also creating few chances. Good to get a game & cheers to denbeath for stepping in at short notice , wish them a good season . All about getting fitness up though & it was hard in the heat today but a good run out . We made some mistakes which we were punished for but in spells we played well and created a few chances. Massive thanks to all at Crossgates for the game and wish them all the best in the first season back after their break from the game.
