  1. This is my final say on the matter and hope everyone can move on. Im going to copy two comments from Secretary James Scott which he posted on Pie And Bovril and would like a response. we have only found out that the pitch fees have not been paid since 2008 - above is nonsense as you knew back in August that this was the case. myself the chairman and groundsman were then putting money into the club to pay manager and coaching staffs wages every week which was over £100 per week... If the current coaching staff were on £100 a week ( a manager and asistant at most ) which i find hard to believe. Why despite me chasing you through various sources to receive my £200 ( less than the figure i had earned but agreed to settle at this ) that was agreed by the chairman that i would receive when i resigned has never been paid to me despite chasing this for 8 weeks?
  2. Lee made CLEAR PROFIT of 5k on players bought/sold. we also brought in 1k sponsor money that paid for a board at the park and a set of warm up jumpers. i have no idea the fees involved for Wison,Hughes and Forbes.
  3. DeekConn, There should be a set of black sweatshirts that a sponsor i brought too the club donated, Im sure he wont mind you taking these.
  4. Brucie, i didnt state any fee as im not privvy too the info , all i said is you bought Forbes and sold Hughes and Wilson which is correct. sorry i forgot about Bateson ( which you paid personally i think) ...
  5. Al, if you read the statement from The Secretary James Scott he does elude too bills outstanding from previous years to HMRC,Fife Council,Utility Companies and Cowdenebath FC so its no secret. It is a shame as with the facilities there they have the basis too have a good club. When Lee was asked too take over in the summer he wasnt keen, It was me who encouraged him to go and speak too them and i would help him out. For reasons unknown too me Stevie Kay decided too step down after having too build a squad the previous season from scratch and keeping them in the Superleague which was a great achievement. When Lee told me the budget for the new season and a list of players that were under contract it wasnt a huge rebuilding job. We knew we would lose some but if we could bring 6 or so in too compliment the ones allready there we would be okay. Yes we had too renegotiate players contracts too bring it too a manageable level and yes we had to sell players to get the club up and running. Of all the transfer money we brought in only The Darren Smith money was reinvested too buy Sam Bratchie from Oakley and Scott McCrindle from Rosyth. After a month or so we realised the budget given too us initially wasnt sustainable and it would be around 1/3rd less than previously agreed, We told the committee it would be very difficult too stay in the league with that budget but we would give it our best which we did and we were doing okay. i know how much we raised clear profit in the transfer market and it should of been enought too get us through a few months until the club were stable and earning enough to self fund but obviously there was more money due too creditors than first thought. For the record we sold the following players Murray Carstairs-Dundonald Aidan Hendry-Dundonald Stevie Brown-Lochgelly Grant Manzie- Newburgh Gavin Gray-Kennoway Darren Smith-Bonnyrigg We paid transfer fees for Scott McCrindle- Rosyth Sam Bratchie -Oakley since we left they sold Chris hughes to Kelty and Craig Wilson to Linlithgow and paid a fee for Mark Forbes-Kelty.
  6. Stan as much as I have no time for the current committee I honestly dont think they knew the full extent of the bills that were outstanding. I know from my short time there that allegedly the rates too the council for lease of the park hadnt been paid for a few years. There was also bills from gas/electric dating back a whilst. Seemingly there was money due to Cowdenbeath Fc for players loaned from previous seasons and also to Kinross High For astro turf hire. IF this was indeed the case why did the council and utility companies allow this too happen and not chase what they were due earlier.I know nothing about any HMRC bills which may of been the final straw. I think the club had come too payment plans with most of there creditors that was manageable but if HMRC were involved and taking into account the alleged huge wages from previous years the tax bill would be huge. May I add thats what I was aware of whilst I was there but maybe members of the current/previous committees would know better than me.
  7. Perfectly chilled Brucie.. Buy yersel and the committee a jar aff what ye were due me and we will call it quits. Aw the best The Fat Controller.
  8. Hopefully all players find good clubs. LInlithgow should of held off a week to sign Craig Wilson.
  9. One of the best posts ive read in a long time...Well done Stan
  10. So a take it the chances of The Fat Contoller getting squared up are slim then Brucey
  11. All the best big chap, was surprised to see you play against us last week. Cheers Mav, I trained with them on the Tuesday and Thursday and Alan asked if i could help out the Saturday which i was pleased to do. If Jock hadnt phoned me on the Monday to go too the Haws i would probably still be training with Hearts of Beath. They have a lot of decent boys there and will be challenging for the league
  12. i forgot too add.. The management as well as making a 5k profit in transfers and raising 1k sponsorship through a personal friend i would hope Ballingry Rovers will honour monies due to both the manager and assistant manager as both have worked since July and not received what they r due so far. Both are out of pocket for the work they done. Superbigal- feel free to copy and paste..
  13. I have read p+B this morning and fantastic reading. I have a strong idea who Mouseman is and no idea why he just doesnt put his name to it. The Fat Controller has indeed signed with Haws and at my age very grateful too them for the opportunity too help out a very well run junior club . A team ive supported since a bairn and should of went a few years back and finished my career. Mousemans team didnt want the Fat Controller playing yet he took his train into the Penicuik box a few weeks back and scored a goal that may keep them in the league. Never heard them criticise that day...
