  8. For our 1st game back after our Sabbatical year out it was great to get back to football. Starting today with a mention of how professional GPR today with their set up regarding Vivid rules and procedures 100% spot on guys. As for the game,,,, well we knew it was going to be hard against a very good side, we have a lot of youth in the squad this season with some experience behind them to give support.. The lads never gave up and had a few good spells but the strength and experience of GPR lads overwhelmed us. However it was all about getting HoB back in the Amateur game and that is down to the new lads on the coaching team along with the players who have committed by signing so thank you all.. Best wishes go out to GPR for the new season ahead too.
  9. Nice to see its up and running again,,, so can I ask for advice on exactly what paper work is required and procedure with ref? Our first game this Sat n need to get it right so any advice would be much appreciated . Cheers guys
  10. 29 years was last period,,, not many clubs can put claim to that
  11. Hi, sorry if the post was misleading,, we were going to wait till Monday then decided to go for it now, only to give the lads a bit to think about and talk about over the weekend,,, however the post is accurate and more to follow after AGM. Thanks
  12. "Worst Kept Secret" ... We will after League AGM this Monday 15 June 2020 be announcing our New Management & Coaching Team for the forthcoming season. It was our intentions to return back to the Amateur ranks within fife Saturday football and along with the other teams at all levels looking forward to the restart once this Covid situation settles. We are also hopeful that a number of past players from HoB will return to the club. We are also looking to add to Committee non playing people who would be willing to assist on match days and attend Committee meetings, if interested contact Tony or Derek via web page or direct. Thank you.
  13. Hoping this helps with planning the next new season regarding clubs wishing to enter/re-enter league, I can confirm HoB have completed necessary paperwork and are looking forward to the challenge ahead and hope to get going again August 2020, however this season has to be completed in some way but who knows how or what is the fairest ? Good luck anyway to all teams and to the Committee who will not win whatever is decided.
  14. Tonight at the end of season league meeting Hearts of Beath AFC announced that we would not be participating in the new season ahead,,,, "it was a very hard decision to make between Myself and Derek." We have been playing both Sunday and Saturday Amateur for best part of 30 years now and for this to happen was very difficult to accept.. We are hoping to take the year out and hopefully return to the Amateur ranks season 20/21. The Club name shall however continue within the Hearts of Beath juniors section including the under 18s & U19s who may well become the new boys for the Amateur team on the return.. We wish the Executive Committee, member Clubs all the best for the future. Yours in Sport,,,, Tony & Derek
